Create has teamed up with a luxury fashion brand based in London, with its Creative Director and Founder originating from Paris. Incorporated in 2018, the brand’s growth in the last 4 years has been exponential, from start-up to now being distributed in over 300 stores worldwide. The brand shows twice a year as part of the official calendar of the Federation de la Mode et Haute Couture in Paris, during Men’s Fashion Week. The collections began with a menswear focused offering, and debuted a full women’s collection in January 2021, alongside launching leather goods accessories and sunglasses in the Summer of 2021. As the brand moves into its new phase we are expanding the business and applying structure to each of the departments.
The current company has 54 full time employees spanning across Design, Finance, Marketing, Production, Logistics and Sales. Based in a lovely neighborhood in Wapping, we have a penthouse design studio with an on-site Atelier.

The head of collections would be responsible for managing the teams directly under the Creative Director, with the heads of each department across – Design, Art Department, Product Development and the Atelier. This individual would report directly into the Creative Director and for budgetary parts of the role directly to the CEO.
After 8 collections (5 men’s collections & 3 combined women’s and men’s), the brand has established itself firmly in its core product competencies in – Silk, Knitwear, Tailoring, Denim, Jersey, Sports and non-leather goods accessories). The growth areas are of the current collections are – outerwear, couture, footwear, leather accessories and expanding styles in the other areas. The opportunity for the Head of Collections, not only to be a part of expanding and refining the existing collections, but to support the Creative Director in establishing a core product line, carry over pieces and the introduction of the pre-collections.
As a growth brand the head of collections must possess not only a wish to support the creation of a significant fashion collection but also have a strong sense of how to map out a range plan that blends runway and commercial product.
The role and responsibilities would include:
Managing the teams and their work flows, timelines and deadlines
Set up the Seasonal Critical Path alongside Head Designer, to plan and schedule the upcoming collections
Working in collaboration with the Commercial and Merchandising team on formulating the range plans
Developing the core collection and the pre-collections
Working alongside the Creative Director and Art Director on specific capsule collections
Create and maintain design technical specification sheets. Working closely with designer and pattern cutter to update data accordingly
Co-ordinate fabric and trims sourcing with the team. Co-ordinate and attending supplier meetings.
Supervising the ordering of collection fabric and components, liaising directly with all suppliers.
Supervising the raising Purchase Orders and dealing with all submissions and approvals in an accurate and timely manner.
Create collection budgets and tracking sampling costs, updating the budget log document with any purchases made, against Order Confirmations, Purchase Orders and Invoices.
Manage the project development process ensuring that all timelines and deadlines are adhered to against the critical path.
Supervise pattern cutters, freelancers and machinists throughout the development and final make process.
Responsible for the engagement, recruitment and management of freelancers.
Management of the atelier overseeing the Atelier manager, machinists and pattern cutters
Management of the Head Designer for the handover of collection patterns, fabrics and specifications to the machinists.
Co-ordinating all fit sessions, responsible for writing up all alterations and handing over to the relevant pattern cutter to amend patterns accordingly before proceeding into final make.
Liaising and visit any new manufacturers at development and production stage to review for design alongside the Head of Production.
