THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a luxury client, based in South East London as a Product Developer, managing the development of fashion & apparel.

This company work across men’s and womenswear creating silk garments based on comfort, function and elegance.

You will report to the Head of Collections and ensure all products meet cost, quality and brand objectives, as well as developing the collection from initial concept to final product.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Manage the full product development process

· Support in the planning coordination and execution of projects from insights to briefs, through to design, development, costing and commercialization

· Assist in the process of material sourcing and development

· Complete technical product data sheets and cost sheets

· Support in the planning of seasonal structure to ensure on time delivery of samples and production

· Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers on development projects and together with the production team provide feedback

· Complete technical product data sheets and cost sheets

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· 3+ years’ experience in a similar role preferably in a luxury fashion brand

· Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or similar is preferred

· Excellent knowledge and use of Adobe package – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

· Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office – in particular Excel

· Good knowledge and use of PLM programs, including Zedonk

· Ability to manage stress and pay close attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure

· Ability to work proactively, independently on multiple projects under tight timeframes

· Highly organized, flexible with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced everchanging environment
