Create have teamed up with a luxury womenswear brand. They have a goal to make women feel strong and desirable by providing elements of an elevated, versatile wardrobe.  Their Atelier team is seeking an experienced Fitter to attend and lead all of their private client fittings at the central showroom.

The role:

You are expected to provide the best customer experience.
Completing the garment within the established timeline
Attend client fitting appointments to fit and measure them accurately to enable new patterns to be created for them
Be able to work with and gauge the behavior of different types of fabrics while recommending alterations
Be able to make the alterations that were pinned on the actual garment within a good timeframe
Contribute in fully stitching garments for clients when required
Travel between the atelier and showroom when needed for appointments

The Candidate:

Min 8 years of experience as a seamstress and ideally in a similar client facing role
Work with sensitivity for the product, mastery of the techniques of hand sewing, embroidery, beads and machinery.
The successful candidate must have excellent communications skills, the ability to work as a team and reflect a problem-solving attitude.
Skills to understand and work with different kinds of fabrics, eg : crepes, chiffons, both stretch & non stretch fabrics.
