Create have teamed up with an elegant, bold contemporary fashion house who are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Production coordinator in East London to support their Production team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with mills and trim suppliers to ensure goods are suitable for production
  • To review fabric collections ahead of purchasing to identify any potential issues and present solutions to overcome
  • To Assist with Season Set up of Key documents: CP
  • To place Fabric orders with PM / follow through for Order confirmation / delivery dates, update System & CP. Ensure prices match on the systems
  • To manage the approval of bulk fabrics for despatch and facilitate shipments.
  • To launch season colour comments with print houses, approve Strike Off for all prints with design, send approval comments.inc Print Placements.
  • To calculate Trim forecast / Projection
  • To place Trim Orders / follow through for Order confirmation / delivery dates, update System & CP and advise QC’s
  • To create Care Instructions seasonally
  • To set up (with Production Assist) the Care Label spread sheet for label printing
  • To plan bulk send outs based on department priorities.
  • To advise Product team of fabric delivery (if delivery to Studio), check fabric and allocate & send to factories (Bulk Packages)
  • To advise team of changes to delivery so they may relay to factories
  • To liaise with sales (seasonal info) & Shipping with PM on points of query & delegate to team.
  • To take responsibility of Trims room (with PA, Apprentice & Studio Intern)
  • Weekly ZEDONK check on rm shortages,
  • Using the Zedonk inventory system to monitor raw material arrivals and send outs. When sending bulk packages you must be aware of all re orders communicated to you and therefore send out the further required materials accordingly.
  • To undertake stock take in Studio & maintain stock level information, inc system updates, addressing stock levels by way of disposal / W/O of older season stock.
  • Reconciling system, ensuring the book ins/outs are completed and discrepancies’ are being addressed.
  • To review the monthly RM stock liability for Finance team.
  • Ensure that stock items are being utilised at all times and minimising additional expenditures for the business
  • To take ownership of Small Accessories from Handover to Production , launch to PP , through to scheduling , QC and Delivery

General Responsibilities:

  • To manage the day to day work of the PA & Studio intern ensuring that they are working on the right jobs at the right time.
  • Liaison with factories to resolve any RM issues, follow up with Mill to a timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Maintaining the office and personal spaces so that they are clean, tidy and organised.
  • Maintaining generic RM stock such as labels, swing tags etc considering companywide requirements for such items.
