Create have teamed up with an exciting Luxury sportswear inspired brand. Who due to business expansion are looking for an experienced Fabric and Trims Coordinator to join the Team, working across both menswear and womenswear.  Reporting to the Head of Production, this will be a full-time role managing the bulk ordering of raw materials and trims each season.  You will be working closely with Product Development, Design and Finance as well as external factories and suppliers. You must have experience working with Zedonk for this role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for placing all purchase orders with fabric and trim suppliers.
  • Coordinating all aspects of raw materials and raw materials stock for production including ordering all raw materials and trims for production.
  • Creating and maintaining raw material trackers for the department, ensuring all shipments are logged and tracked, including stock location.
  • Key partner with fabric development, working alongside them for seasonal fabric handover, approved print file artworks, fabric testing/mill tech reports and approved fabric swatches.
  • Working alongside the fabric development team to ensure fabric testing requirements and standards are met. Making sure test reports and certifications are organised each season along with any additional testing required at production stage and additional testing required by client territories.
  • Working alongside product development team to plan and place seasonal fabric forecast orders including FTS.
  • Able to split raw materials per destination including physical send outs, ensuring all raw materials arrive at vendors according to Critical Path planned dates.
  • Placing fabric orders with Head of Production and following through for order confirmation/delivery dates, updating internal systems and critical path.
  • Ensuring bulk approval swatches are called in and approved in a timely manner.
  • Arranging fabric strike-offs and lab dips for new orders with FE factories.
  • Chasing approvals of lab dips, strike offs and trims, including delivery dates from suppliers for sample lengths.
  • Collating all fabric information, chasing prices from suppliers, and entering the details into sample tracking documents.
  • Assisting on the negotiation of prices and lead times for bulk fabric orders with Head of Production.
  • Maintaining and updating all data on Zedonk, including pricing and testing of trims and fabrics to ensure internal systems are kept up to date.
