Our client is a sustainable lifestyle brand, creating beautiful clothing, homeware and editorial. Renowned for thoughtful, contemporary design and commitment to traditional textiles and craftsmanship.

We are seeking a Technical Product Developer to join this dedicated and passionate team on a 1 year fixed term contract. You will be rewarded with a supportive and nurturing work environment, flexible hours and hybrid working, as well as generous staff discounts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering product that follows the ethos of simplicity, originality, creativity and thoughtfulness.
  • Responsible for developing technically correct product, from sketch through to shipment sample, that represents the vision of the Design Team, meeting high quality/fit standards and achieves the company target margin.
  • To liaise daily with the Design, Production and Merchandise Departments, as well as supply base, to ensure product is delivered in line with the critical path.
  • Manage Assistant Product Developer in thoughtful and collaborative manner to ensure highly motivated and engaged within the wider team.
  • To embrace the company values & behaviors, consistently communicating in a positive and collaborative manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Developer or Garment Technologist, in a relevant brand.
  • In-depth technical understanding of the development process and garment construction.
  • Evidence of Multi Product Experience – Coats, Denim, Soft Separates, etc
  • Strong negotiation skills to ensure Company targets are met.
  • Clear and concise communicator with strong organisational skills, and able to manage a diverse workload.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
