Create Recruitment Specialists have exclusively partnered with an internationally renowned avant-garde couture maison to appoint an exceptional Designer to work closely and collaboratively with the Creative Director.

This is a rare opportunity for a highly creative designer whose visual language resonates with sculptural forms, fluid movement, organic structures and innovative material exploration. Working in a close, highly collaborative relationship with the Creative Director, you will become an integral part of the creative process, contributing ideas, developing concepts and translating creative vision from the initial sketch through to the realisation of couture pieces.

You will work alongside the Creative Director across design development, illustration, garment evolution and couture craftsmanship, as well as contributing to international collaborations, museum exhibitions and special creative projects. You will also support the preparation and execution of Haute Couture collections in Paris, working closely across fittings, rehearsals, presentations and backstage.

We are looking for a designer with exceptional illustration skills and a sophisticated understanding of avant-garde fashion, couture craftsmanship and material innovation. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is essential, alongside an outstanding eye for detail, proportion and precision. You will be highly proactive, collaborative and organised, with the ability to work closely and confidentially with the Creative Director while navigating a fast-moving and highly creative environment.

As part of the application process, candidates will be required to complete a mandatory design task, submitting an original illustrated sketch created specifically for this opportunity. The design should demonstrate your personal interpretation of the maison’s distinctive visual language and must be an entirely new concept rather than an existing design. AI-generated work will not be accepted.
