Create has partnered well established brand known for its beautiful craftmanship who are recruiting a Senior Designer to lead there leather goods and accessories category, including bags, small leather goods, belts, scarves, hats, jewelry, hard accessories and new categories as they grow.

This is a rare opportunity to join a small, creative team and work closely with the Chairman and Product & Supply Director, owning the design vision from concept through to prototype and handover to production. During a period of maternity cover, you will also lead the design team, working collaboratively on her return.

The role

Lead seasonal concepts, colour stories and creative direction

Design new styles, materials, leathers and hardware aligned to brand DNA

Produce high-quality CADs, specs and design packs for prototype development

Collaborate closely with Product Development to refine construction, cost and functionality

Research trends, materials and craftsmanship innovations

Present designs at pipeline and Chairman creative meetings

Visit the flagship store regularly to gain customer and retail insight

Support range building using sales data and commercial awareness

About you

An experienced Accessories Designer (5+ years), ideally within luxury leather goods

Strong knowledge of leather, fabric, metalware and product construction

Confident with Adobe Illustrator, CADs, Excel; 3D and hand sketching a plus

Creative yet commercial, with excellent attention to detail

Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and suppliers

Degree qualified in Fashion or Accessories Design

Strong understanding of the Brands handwriting and customer

This role requires attendance in the West Sussex office at least 3/4 days per week.
