We are excited to be partnering with a highly regarded luxury fashion house to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to join its Ready-to-Wear team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and detail-oriented professional to take ownership of garment technology across RTW collections, ensuring exceptional standards of fit, construction, quality and technical accuracy from development handover through to production approval.

Working closely with Design, Product Development, Production, Atelier, Industrialisation & Quality teams and external suppliers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring products are technically robust, production-ready and delivered in line with critical timelines and the highest quality standards. You will lead technical reviews and fittings, oversee patterns, grading, technical specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs), and provide practical solutions to complex garment construction and manufacturing challenges. You will also develop and maintain technical standards, guidelines and processes, manage supplier relationships, proactively identify technical and quality risks, and ensure all approvals are completed in line with the critical path.

As a key member of the team, you will lead, mentor and develop the Garment Technology function, working collaboratively across departments to drive technical excellence, consistency and continuous improvement throughout the production process.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Garment Technology, ideally within luxury womenswear Ready-to-Wear, with strong expertise in garment fitting, grading, pattern cutting, construction and manufacturing processes. You will have proven experience working with luxury suppliers, managing technical approvals against demanding deadlines and leading technical teams. Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a genuine understanding of the luxury customer and product are essential. Proficiency in Excel is required, while experience with Airtable, PLM and Kaledo would be advantageous.

Fluency in English and Italian is required, with French considered a plus. A willingness to travel to suppliers and factories is also necessary.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical professional to make a meaningful impact within a luxury fashion environment, driving product excellence and ensuring the highest standards of garment construction and production readiness.

This role is based full-time at the company's headquarters (HQ).

If you are an experienced Garment Technology professional looking for your next opportunity within luxury womenswear, we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch to find out more.
